Cleaning Boscombe
I cannot understate how effective I think just giving something a clean is for improving Boscombes urban fabric. Just a bit of effort, if you swept the street outside your house or washed the dirt of your street name sign...
Following this project I met with the local ward Councillors to talk to them about the project. Though I couldn't convince the councillors to clean anything I did convince a member of the local Pokesdown Forum to take cleaning equipment with her next time they did a litter pick.

"As I had suspected the glazed tiles were very satisfying to clean and came up in a good shine after very little effort. I only cleaned one, but on closer inspection I found that there were actually four examples rather than three. There are also at least three that have been painted over. A few have some small differences which may mean they weren't part of a single design and could have just been an understanding between shop owners about the aesthetic of the street."
