Extension to large country house

An exemplar project for using photogrammetry and 3D printing to combine a heritage narrative with a new design proposal.

Using aerial photography and Reality Capture I generated a model of the house and garden as existing. This was then used to 3D print an "as existing" model, through thorough historical research the previously demolished wing of the house was modelled and printed as a removable object allowing a direct comparison between the historic building and the modern proposal.
